RECEPTION DESIGN
First impressions are everything and a reception design is a great way to achieve this. Although formly sophisticated in design, Grosvenor Place required a refresh in furniture and finishes. FIVE were successful in winning the project and produced what is now a cutting edge space. This was achieved successfully by creating a main focal point via the lift wall. Essentially, we changed the dated timber panels for black back-painted glass sections, applied with a striking geometric bronze lattice design. A non- slip large format porcelain tiled floor with a seamless colour matching grout helps to enlarge the space and most notably, we enhanced the reception desk using black glass and corian finishes. Concealed LED lights were installed for effect and the desk also extended to offer DDA compliance. Finally, a new ceiling with linear LED lighting, luxury carpet and contemporary classic furniture pieces finish the transformation.
